How do I measure for an SOB center stand ?

With the help of an assistant to hold your motorcycle verticle, let all the air out of your suspension so it is setting as low as possible. Measure the distance from the bottom of your horizontal frame rail to the ground.

Will the SOB center stand fit with factory crossover exhaust ?

Yes SOB ceter stands will fit with factory crossover exhaust. (note: minor modifications to the exhaust may be required for a center stand length of 4 inches as the left leg may touch the exhaust crossover tube).

I noticed that both switch power wires are the same color, does it matter which one goes to the positive on my battery ?

No it does not matter which power lead goes to the positive. The switch is a polarity reversing circuit and will accept being wired positive to either one of the leads and the other one to ground.

What thickness of wear pads do i need installed on my center stand ?

The thickness of wear pad depends on the length of stand you motorcycle requires. for example if you measured you motorcycle for a 3 inch stand then you would use a 1/2 inch wear pad (making it 3 and 1/2 inches long) so that when you lower you motorcycle onto the stand there is sufficient weight sitting on the stand to ensure that it sits solid on the ground. you can allways install a thicker wear pad if necessary to make it more stable when parked on the center stand.
